Sky Rider

This ring was commissioned by a father for his daughter, inspired by the important place horse riding has long held in her life.

The design draws on the form of a horse bit, reinterpreted into a composition of yellow and white gold that wraps naturally around the finger. Its rounded lines soften the equestrian reference, while rope-like engraved detailing brings texture and subtle definition to the surface. The contrast between the two golds introduces a more contemporary, graphic character without losing a sense of lightness.

At its centre sits a Santa Maria aquamarine from Brazil, chosen for the clarity and brightness of its blue, introducing a sense of openness that balances the density of the gold.

Entirely handcrafted in Belgium, the ring reimagines an equestrian element in a form that reflects a lasting part of her identity.
