The Story

This pendant was among the first pieces Natasha created for her family, marking the beginning of a visual language shaped around an emblem long associated with its history.

The design draws on the medlar flower at the centre of the family’s coat of arms, itself rooted in a medieval legend dating back to 933. Rather than reproducing the emblem directly, the piece isolates and reinterprets it, transforming a flat heraldic motif into a sculptural composition.

A Burmese ruby anchors the centre, while surrounding forms in yellow gold build the flower into a three-dimensional structure. White gold elements introduce a sharper geometry, creating contrast and echoing the framework of the shield.

The pendant translates a historical symbol into a contemporary object, marking the beginning of a personal design language.
