Aqua Solis

This pendant was commissioned for a client seeking a contemporary and versatile piece, designed to be worn close to the neck or longer depending on the occasion. Drawn to blue, she was looking for a stone with presence while moving away from the expected sapphire.

The design developed through a series of concentric forms, giving the pendant a structured yet fluid character. At its centre, a blue zircon from Vietnam was selected for its vivid, electric tone, subtly echoing the colour of her eyes.

An adjustable chain allows the piece to shift in length, adapting to different ways of wearing. Particular attention was given to the surface of the gold, where a diamond-polished finish creates a soft, silky texture, balancing matte depth with a gentle sheen.

The pendant was entirely handcrafted in Belgium, with the chain made in Germany, extending the same attention to detail throughout.
